More good news this month! I’ve been awarded a Craft Makers Award by Creative Scotland in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council.
I was thrilled to find out that my work has been accepted into the British Glass Biennale 2012, the ‘UK’s major exhibition of contemporary glass in association with the Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers and the International Festival of Glass.’
The Philadelphia Inquirer has featured a review of CraftForms, where my piece Atarashii Chado can be seen until 20 January 2012.
My work has been featured in a review of the Christmas Present exhibition in the Sunderland Echo – published on 12 December 2011.
My piece Atarashii Chado is currently being exhibited at CraftForms, at the Wayne Arts Center, Pennsylvania.
The Preview of the Christmas Present exhibition at the Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead will now be taking place on Thursday 17th November from 6-8 pm. All welcome - hope to see you there!
My work’s now been delivered to Norfolk and Gateshead for my upcoming exhibitions, including some new pieces which will be featured in Christmas Present. I have also been accepted into an exhibition in Philadelphia, US – more details of this soon.
I have been accepted as a member of Cretivitiworks, a creative business unit, at the University of Sunderland.
From 16 November – 24 December 2011 my work will be exhibited in the Shipley Art Gallery’s Christmas Present selling exhibition, with the opening held on Wednesday 16 November.
